      <image:title>Simply Postpartum -Home - Recover, Rest, Reset.</image:title>
<image:caption>Your postpartum time should be a time of resting, recovery, and resetting life to a new normal rhythm. The type of support I offer is unique in that it is a program that we will discuss during our initial consultation. During each shift, I will be: Providing you regular daytime support through preparing healing foods and teas that support your physical recovery. Holding space for you as I listen to your needs, fears and desires as a new mother/parent. I will also check in with you regularly to be sure your mental health is supported and offer connections to local resources if needed. Helping you learn to care for your baby whether it’s diapering, soothing, feeding, bathing. I’m here to help you with all the “firsts”, giving you my best tips and tricks and evidence-based support. Allowing you time to rest, whether it is taking a nap or a scheduled overnight shift, we work together to determine what is best for you. Tending to you and your baby are my passion and priority. <image:title>About - So I guess you are wondering how I got here. I’m Suzanne Lee and I came to discover the doula profession after the birth of my son. I felt so supported by my postpartum doula after experiencing a difficult pregnancy and birth that I later decided to become one myself. I have over a decade of experience as a Postpartum Doula. My trainings include, DONA Postpartum Doula, CAPPA Postpartum Doula, Mental Health First Aid, HUG Your Baby, American Red Cross CPR and First Aid for Adults and Infants and trained with Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders where my passion is to focus on families affected by this. I love traveling, cooking, crafting, gaming and anything in the Fantasy and Sci-Fi genre. I live in Durham, North Carolina with my husband, son, cuddly cat, goofy hound and a flock of silly chickens.</image:title>
